Comic and manhua
AI manhua generator
MangaMade is an AI manhua generator that turns a written story into manhua chapters whose pages read left to right. It plans the chapter script, keeps the cast consistent with character model sheets, draws every panel with AI in the series style, letters the dialogue on its own editable layer and exports PNG pages, a PDF or a CBZ.

How MangaMade makes manhua
- Reading direction
- Left to right, starting from the top-left panel, the way most manhua and western comics are read. In MangaMade, manhua uses the comic and manhua format.
- Layout
- 2:3 portrait pages of 1400 × 2100 px, laid out from the same eleven templates as manga, unmirrored.
- Colour
- Starts from the Painted colour preset, full colour with soft gradients. Any of the ten style presets works with the format, black and white included.
- Lettering
- Panels are drawn without any text, and the lettering sits on its own editable layer. Chinese lettering is not available yet, so a manhua is lettered in a supported language such as English, French or Spanish.
- Exports
- PNG pages, a PDF or a CBZ for comic reader apps, or a read-only share link.
- Credits
- 1 credit per panel at 1K, 2 credits for a one-panel splash page at 2K, 2 credits per character model sheet and 1 credit for the series’ style reference. Planning, lettering and exports are free, and a panel that fails returns its credit.
How it works
How to make a manhua with AI
You make the decisions at every step: MangaMade drafts, you edit, and nothing is drawn until you ask for it.
Start a manhua series
Pick the comic and manhua format, a style such as Painted colour and the dialogue language, then describe the premise, the setting and the tone.
Build the cast
Describe each character or upload your own reference art. A model sheet, with a turnaround and a set of expressions, costs 2 credits and keeps them recognisable in every panel.
Plan the chapter
Paste an outline, a scene or prose. The planner splits it into pages and panels with shots, settings and dialogue, and keeps reveals for the panel after a page turn. Edit any line before anything is drawn.
Draw the panels
Each panel is drawn for 1 credit in the series style, against the characters’ model sheets and without any text. Redraw any panel with a note and keep the version you like.
Letter and export
Balloons, captions and sound effects are placed from the script in left-to-right order. Adjust them, then download PNG pages, a PDF or a CBZ, or share a read-only link.
FAQ
Questions about the AI manhua generator
Anything else, and the answer is one email away.
Which way do you read manhua?
Most manhua read left to right, like western comics, with the first panel at the top left. In MangaMade they use the comic and manhua format, whose pages read left to right.
Can I make a manhua in Chinese?
Not yet. MangaMade can draw a manhua-style series and letter it in a supported language, but its lettering fonts do not cover Chinese, so Chinese dialogue is not available.
Can a manhua be in full colour?
Yes. The comic and manhua format suggests the Painted colour preset, full colour with soft gradients, and Flat colour, Watercolour and Chibi are in colour too. The black-and-white presets work with it as well.
Can I make a manhua that scrolls vertically?
Yes: start the series in the webtoon format instead. Each chapter is then one vertical strip read by scrolling, exported in slices ready to upload.
How much does a manhua chapter cost?
Credits pay for drawings only: 1 credit per panel at 1K, 2 credits for a one-panel splash page at 2K, 2 credits per character model sheet and 1 credit for the series’ style reference. Planning, lettering and exports are free, and a panel that fails returns its credit.
